Description
Designed as a premium, self-priming topcoat system for all interior and exterior woodwork, furniture, and timber structures. H2Oil is suitable for use on properly prepared hardwoods and soft woods, worked evenly over the entire surface with either lamb’s wool, micro-fiber applicators, or by brush. Ensure that any stains, greying, tannins, and oils are removed from all timber surfaces to be coated using Timber Clean and Timber Prep prior to H2Oil application.
If re-coating over existing H2Oil, simply pre-wash surface using Deck Bright before applying fresh coat of H2Oil. Surfaces painted with non Aqualis products will need to be sanded (40-80 grit sandpaper/pad) or stripped back to raw timber using Strip Ease prior application of H2Oil.
If mould or algae is a problem, pre-treat washed surface with Aqualis No Fungal Pro. No Fungal Pro is suitable for use on raw timber only, if mould infestation has occurred through or beneath the existing coated surface, it is recommended that a full strip and clean back to raw timber be undertaken before treatment with No Fungal Pro and sealer coats can proceed. For added safety, apply Aqualis Traction on all step treads, sloping surfaces, ramps, or wet areas.
